The Serj Tankian Signature guitar is based on the historic Jolana Iris design from 1973. The new version was created in the 2010s together with Serj Tankian of System of a Down. The artwork for this instrument was based on one of his famous paintings caled “Genocide”.. Serj used this guitar extensively on the last System of a Down world tour. His original guitar was later auctioned off and fetched more than 20.000 USD for a good cause, supporting Armenian orphans.
